My research interests are centered on the ecology of freshwater fishes of Patagonia. At this moment, together with Victor Cussac and Miguel Battini, we are trying to clarify some basic biological aspect of the catfish Hatcheria macraei, such as, life cycle, habitat use and reproduction parameters. The main goal of our research is to understand the native fish biology and the species interactions in order to provide information for their conservation.
