Work Done

Our group sampled 65 localities and collected multiple species of frogs, including Alsodes australis (n ≈ 13*), A. igneus (2), A. verrucosus (9), A. sp. (~11); Batrachyla antarctica (4), B. leptopus (~83), B. nivaldoi (1), B. subantarctica (6), B. taeniata (2); Bufo variegates (1); Eupsophus calcaratus (~79), E. contulmoensis (1), E. emiliopugini (9); Hylorina sylvatica (~7); and Pleurodema thaul (4).  We collected the following lizards: Liolaemus cyanogaster (n = 7), L. cyanogenys (1), L. chilensis (6), L. lemniscatus (1), L. pictus (53), L. tenuis (10), and L. sp. (1).  Many of the localities sampled on the mainland south of Chiloe Island are extremely important because this region is very poorly known.

The “*” identifies approximate numbers because some lots of tadpoles were collected.
