Biography:

Born in 1962, Los Angeles, Chile. Hobbies include field trips, soccer, tennis, and family. Researcher of the CIEP project (Patagonian Ecosystem Research Center) a new research center located in the Chilean Patagonia, Aysen Region. Molecular cytogenetic analysis and karyotype differentiation between the species of Gattungen Allium (Alliaceae) and Alstroemeria (Alstroemeriaceae). Humboldt Foundation, BDFZ Quedlinburg. 2003-2004. Principal Investigator. Project “Chilean Flora”. Andrew Mellon Foundation. 1987 - present (until 2012). Member of five scientific societies: Sociedad de Biología de Concepción, Chile.
